SBExpress-RM Rackmount PCIe Gen6 NVMe Test System
The SBExpress-RM6 Rackmount is a 16-bay enterprise-class NVMe test appliance supporting PCIe speeds from Gen1 to Gen6. The SANBlaze software IP for Gen6 is fully downward compatible across all previous SANBlaze generation platforms.

iRiser5 Intelligent Device
The iRiser5 device brings precise signal control and measurement to Gen5 PCIe NVMe testing with the SANBlaze SBexpress-DT5 and SBExpress-RM5 PCIe NVMe test systems.
The patented SANBlaze iRiser5 can monitor drive power at up to 1M samples per second, giving near real-time power response as drives come online and handle resets or power cycles.
Signals under control are timed at an 80nS interval in relation to each other, giving the user ultimate control over complex testing scenarios, such as a drive reset at a specific time after power is asserted.
The iRiser5 operates seamlessly with the SANBlaze standard riser capabilities, such as SRIS and Power state testing, losing no functionality with the addition of the iRiser5 as an initial purchase, or post purchase as a hardware upgrade.

Features of iRiser5
- Precision control of PCIe/NVMe power and control signals while continuously monitoring the power of each device under test (DUT)
- A sequence of events can be scheduled on each signal line with up to 10 nanoseconds (nS) glitch precision, with each event action loading at 80nS interval to hours.
- Simple or complex sequences can be defined and loaded to iRiser from the host system.
SBExpress-RM5
The SANBlaze SBExpress-RM5 is a complete turnkey PCIe® Gen5 NVMe SSD Drive validation test system. The SBExpress-RM5 feature set provides unique functions applicable to all aspects of a product lifecycle, from development and QA, to design validation and manufacturing test cycles.
The ability to drive Gen5 NVMe SSDs with a wide range of configurable attributes provides engineers with a flexible, multi-controller supported validation test platform.

The DT5 is 100% Software Compatible with the SBExpress-RM5 sixteen device system. The DT5 provides features —formerly the exclusive domain of the qualification and incoming inspection teams — right to the engineer's desk. Using the same Single/Dual Port U.2, M.2, and EDSFF/E3 risers as the 16-bay rack mount system, the desk top DT5 packs the same enterprise class features including ZNS,Opal/Ruby, SRIS, Specification Validation, Power Control, Automated Scripting and Python, XML and REST APIs as its big sister the RM5.

OCP
The Open Compute Project (OCP) was formed to quicken innovation for open-source hardware solutions in hyper-scale data center environments. OCP requires that Solid State Storage Drives (SSDs) adhere to the OCP’s NVMe Cloud SSD Specification v2.0 or the newer Datacenter NVMe SSD specification v2.5.

Certified By SANBlaze Scripts
With the Certified by SANBlaze program NVMe SSD Manufacturers can run a series of automated tests to determine if their drives are running correctly and that they are compliant with the latest specs. Alerts of Failures, Skipped or Warnings are shown if one or more drives is not behaving the way that it should, allowing for the quick diagnosing of any problems before the drives go out into the field.
The Certified by SANBlaze tests are bundled with the software when customers purchase a SANBlaze SBExpress-RM5 (rackmount) or an SBExpress-DT5 (desk top) unit. Simply choose the tests you want to perform, add them to the test bed, and click Start. The Certified by SANBlaze software does the rest, reporting the results in real-time and in beautifully-created reports.

Protocols Supported
